ABSTRACT
Even though laser and light-assisted hair removal have practically replaced electrolysis, there are situations when electrolysis is useful and advantageous. These situations include patients with dark skin, and those with vellous, accelerated vellous and white and red hairs. Furthermore, permanence of hair removal is achieved with electrolysis, though not certain with laser and light-assisted hair removal
