Hernia containing the vermiform appendix is known as the Amyand's hernia. It is a rare condition that occurs in about one percent of the cases of inguinal hernia. This is the report of a case of Amyand's hernia in a 24 years old male patient. As the appendix was not inflamed, hence it was not removed and replaced in the abdominal cavity.
