Encephalopathie post anoxique a retardement: a propos de deux observations

ABSTRACT

The post anoxic encephalopathy is caracterized by a 3 steps sequence - Intial Hypoxia with 24 to 48 h of stupor - Apparent recovery during several days - Relapse with psychiatric and motor disorder or stupor Daleyed deterioration is a rare complication of sever anoxia. It may have a good evolution. The first cases have been described in association with carbon monoxide poisoning - Later other cases developped after cardiac arrest hypoglycemia have been reported. We present, 2 cases reports, which may enter in this entity The fist one following a cardiac arrest, the second one after carbon monoxide poisonning
