ABSTRACT
Seventy patients suffering from pityriasis versicolor were studied clinically and mycologically. Patients were divided into 7 groups, each group included 10 patients and was subjected to different lines of treatment. All treatments followed had a beneficial effect in the treatment of pityriasis versicolor with no significant difference between them. The role of psoralen in the management of residual hypopigmentation was found to be minimal
