to compare the time of onset, adequacy of surgical analgesia and motor blockade with epidural anaesthesia versus spinal anaesthesia for hysterectomy. To compare the frequency of hypotension and need for switching to general anaesthesia with spinal versus epidural anaesthesia for hysterectomy
