Nicergoline and pepon, a new combination for treatment of idiopathic rapid ejaculation

ABSTRACT
Eighty-four patients with IRE were given nicergoline [Sermion] an alpha adrenergic blocker, pepon [pumpkin seed oil] an anti-inflammatory agent and combination of nicergoline and pepon in order to determine the effectiveness of these drugs in treatment of IRE. This study proved that the combination of nicergoline and pepon is an effective and safer pharmacological agents which can be used to treat patients with IRE. This useful combination inhibit the peripheral predominant alpha adrenoceptor tone and dilate the peripheral arteries. It has anti-inflammatory and dyslipidemic effect. In addition, it does not affect the semen volume
