Comparative study of three luting composite used in cementation of cerec cermic restoration at different gaps

ABSTRACT

The material used in this study was 42 pairs of Vita Cerec Ceramic cylinders and 3 types of luting composite resins which are used in cementing the Cerec porcelain inlays. The Dual curing bonding composite resins showed an acceptable tensile strength resistance, the Dual Dicor MGC luting composite [Dentsply] showed a greater bonding strength than both the Duo cement Coltene and to a higher degree than Duo cement Vita Cerec. This difference was not statistically significant. The gap size has a reasonable effect on the boning strength and it increases, decreases the bonding strength of the luting composite
