ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to compare between the effect of exercise therapy and faradic stimulation on hand grip strength and wrist joint mobility after Colles' fracture. Forty male and female patients between the ages of 40-59 years participated in this investigation. They were randomly assigned to both treatment groups. Each patient received three treatment sessions per week for four weeks. The hand grip strength and wrist joint mobility were evaluated before and after the study. The results demonstrated that both exercise therapy and faradic stimulation produced significant increase in hand grip strength with superiority of exercise over the faradic stimulation. Wrist joint mobility increased significantly in both groups but neither of the treatment programs exhibited superiority over the other
