ABSTRACT

The authors report the results of the corneal examination in 21 patients with inborn errors of metabolism. They classify the corneal abnormalities in 3 groups according to their semiological value characteristic of the disease, pathognomonic or associated to it. They insist on the interest of the corneal examination in cystinosis, Wilson's disease, tyrosinemia [Richner - Hanhart syndrome] and Fabry's disease
