External rhinoplasty approach in management of congenital midline nasal dermoid cysts and fistulae

ABSTRACT

This study included six patients with deep midline nasal dermoid cysts and fistulae and two patients with superficial midline nasal dermoid cysts. Complete excision of the cysts and fistulae via the external rhinoplasty approach under general anesthesia. The external rhinoplasty approach allowed easy dissection and complete excision of the dermoid cysts and fistulae in all cases
