Viral warts: clinico-epidemiological study is Baghdad

ABSTRACT
The study was conducted in two dermatology departments in Baghdad. The prevalence rate of viral warts was 6.32%. The commonest type was common warts [68%]. Warts affected both sexes equally with the highest prevalence during the second decade of life. There was a high percentage of patients who had a positive history of stress, physiological trauma and family history. The study showed no relation between viral warts and marital status
