ABSTRACT
During a period of 2 years and half, 9337 parasitological examination of stool are practise in parasitology laboratory of Rabta hospital. Prevalence of digestive parasitic is 28,53%. In 16,10% of cases, patients had more than one parasite. 18 species of parasite are diagnose, Giardia lamblia [33,56%] and Enterobius vermicularis [17%] are the most frequent. Cryptosporidin, new parasite for man, was isolated once in immunocompetent children and 12 times in patients with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome [AIDS]. We described here the first case detected with Necator americanus
