Occult spinal dysraphism and tethered cord syndrome

ABSTRACT
Fifteen patients were operated in last six years for spinal dysraphism, tethered cord syndrome and low lying conus. Eight had filum terminale syndrome, five had lumbosacral lipomas; one each had diastematomyelia and post operative tethered cord after myelingomyelocele operation. Ten patients had significant improvement, four had no change and one got worse after the operation
