ABSTRACT
A simple, sensitive and facile colorimetric method for quantitative determination of amoxicillin, cefadroxil and ceforperazone is developed. The method is based on the formation of blue colored chromogen upon the reaction of the investigated drugs with 2,6-dichloroquinone chlorimide in alkaline medium. The optimal experimental parameters for the color production are selected. Obedience the Beer's law permitted the successful application of the developed method for the assay of investigated drugs in their pharmaceutical dosage forms. The results obtained are compared with the reported

method:
