ABSTRACT

Ovarian goiter or strouma ovarii is an ovarian mature teratome in which thyroidal contingent is the most frequent. We have realised a retrospective study in CMNRT "service A" on a period of fifteen years during which we have studied anatomopathological, surgical and therapeutic aspect s of six cases of ovarian goiter. Clinical picture is not specific and the diagnosis is always histologic. We have remarked one case of malignant ovarian goiter 1 case/six this rate is between 5-20% in the literature. Treatment is always surgical, this pathology have a favorable prognosis
