ABSTRACT
Calcium hydroxide has been the material of choice for apexification. Because of variability of treatment time, financial concern, unpredictability of apical closure and difficulty in patient follow-up, sometimes when traditional apexification cannot be performed. This case report describes an alternative technique using calcium hydroxide as an apical plug to develop an apical barrier in a pulpless tooth. This technique is an easy method requiring only a single visit to develop an apical stop to facilitate dense obturation
