ABSTRACT
This study presented 25 patients who have been selected for functional endoscopic sinus surgery [FESS] on the basis of standardized diagnostic procedures. The clinical outcome of patients who underwent FESS was compared with those reported by other otolaryngologists. The results were satisfactory and encouraging. A success rate of 92% was obtained according to the overview of examination findings at revision. A complication rate of 8% was reported. It was concluded that FESS procedure is relatively safe and it can be recognized as the treatment of choice for chronic sinusitis that fails medical therapy
