ABSTRACT
In order to assess the nutritional status of under five children, and to investigate risk factors, related to malnutrition, a cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted on 350 children under five years of age, in nurseries and kindergarten in Sana'a city, Republic of Yemen. Multi-stage sampling technique was used. Tools for data collection were structured questionnaire, standardized weight scale, height scale and other anthropometric tools
