ABSTRACT

The authers analyse the results of 78 Bimalleolar fractures and discuss the interest of surgical treatment. They precise that the orthopedic treatment must be reserved to indisplaced fractures and the surgical treatment reserved every time the displacement is important and when the ligaments lesions are associated; this is the case in fractures due to external rotation pronation and adductim supination. Surgical therapy is more applied in several cases, because it is the efficacious one and give the best results [88% good results]
