ABSTRACT
The aim of this study was to find out the prevalence of anti-HCV and HbsAg in haemodialysis patients. Out of 75 haemodialysis patients, 48 [64%] were reactive for anti-HCV, 4 [5.33%] were positive for HBsAg while 2 [2.67%] showed exposure to both agents. Highest prevalence of [75%] of haemodialysis patients was found in the 61-80 years of life for anti-HCV while 65.62%, 60% and 42.30% was the prevalence of anti-HCV in 21-40, 0-20 and 41-60 years of life. The prevalence of HBsAg as compared with anti-HCV was significantly lower in all ranges of years of life
