Job satisfaction for nursing staff

ABSTRACT
The aim of the present study is to find out the extent to which the nurse sin the public hospital are satisfied with their job, also its to assess the relation ship between job satisfaction and nurse demographic factors. Tow hundred nurses working in the hospital of Mousl City, are the total sample size. The measures of the study already tested for validity and reliability. In the current study there are also examined and found to be valid and reliable. The method of data collection used was the questionnaire to include a large sample. The mean and standard deviation shows that nurses are dissatisfied with their jobs, [24.76, 4.51]. A strong positive correlation between job satisfaction and effect of nurses characteristic factors; [age, marital status, duration of experience] are significantly correlated with satisfaction. Regarding to the level of education it showed no significant difference. This study concluded that nurses in public hospital are dissatisfied with their job, however, further research is needed to examine these results before e a generalization is made
