ABSTRACT
The rate of reduction of Cr[+6] to Cr[+3] reaction in K[2]Cr[2]O[7] has been studied and it is found to be first order. The rate of reaction at a concentration of 0.05 mole of K[2]Cr[2]O[7] per liter have been measured in absence and in presence of different concentrations of amino acids [Glycine, Isoleucine, Asparagine, Proline, Histidine and Methionine], at different temperatures and speeds of rotation. The rate of reaction was found to decrease by increasing concentration of amino acids and it increases by increasing the speed of rotation. Thermodynamic parameters delta G*, delta H* and delta S* are given. The dimensionless groups were also calculated
