ABSTRACT
Although many techniques have been advocated to reduce large breasts, they are all associated with large scars. Patients whose nipple/areolar complex is normally located and whose enlargement is primarily due to fat are candidates for breast reduction by suction alone which is associated with small scars. Suction mammoplasty is not intended to remove glandular tissue. The technique is beneficial in treating breast enlargement or asymmetry, whether congenital or acquired following reduction mammoplasty
