Quantitative growth of the base of the skull: study in human fetal period (9th to 43th weeks post-conception)

The growth of the area base was studied in 30 Brazilian human fetuses ranging between 9th to 43th weeks post-conception. The data were correlated with fetal parameters of growth (age, fetal weight and crown-rump lenght) by using the allometric method (log y = b log x+a).
