ABSTRACT
A case of common fibular nerve (CFN) compression caused by an osteochondroma arising from lhe right proximal metaphysis of the fibula in a 13 years old mate patient is described. The patient reported that after falling with the right foot forced into plantar hyperflexion a complete lack of dorsal extension of the toes was noticed, persisting the strength of the anterior tibial muscle. Electro-neuromyography showed neuropraxia and partial axonotmesis of the CFN. The patient underwent conservative treatment for six months without improvement. Surgical procedure was indicated the surgical exploration showed a nerve dislocated and flattened by the tumor Complete resection of the tumor and neurolysis were performed for neurological recovery. Six months after surgery the patient regained the normal range of motion
