RESUMO

No período entre março/1997 e julho/2002, foram operados 26 pacientes portadores de aneurisma de topo de artéria basilar através da abordagem craniotomia Fronto-temporal órbito zigomática com acesso transcavernoso para o espaço incisural anterior. De acordo com a escala de resultados de Glasgow, 24 pacientes apresentaram pontuação 1 e 2 (bons resultados- 92,2 por cento e 2 pacientes apresentaram pontuação 3 e 4 / In the period between march 1997 and july 2002 26 patients with basilar artery apex aneurysms were operated using the transcavernous approach through the fronto - temporal orbitozygomatic craniotomy for reaching the anterior incisural space.
