RESUMO

O autor discute o TEPT desde seu diagnóstico, histórico, aspectos neurológicos, curso e prognóstico, tratamento e aspectos psicodinâmicos. São feitas correlações de conceitos atuais ligados ao TEPT, como CPT e resiliência, com os conceitos junguianos de restauração regressiva da persona, regressão simbólica e potencial de individuação. O autor frisa a importância clínica desse diagnóstico para as estratégias terapêuticas necessárias, como, por exemplo, o tratamento precoce.

ABSTRACT

The author discusses the TEPT, its diagnostic, historical and neurological aspects , course and prgnostic, its treatment as well as its psychodynamic aspects. Some correlations among current concepts connected to the TPET, as CPT and "resilience" with Jungian concepts of regressive restoration of the persona, symbolic regression and the potential of individuation are made. The author enphasizes the clinical importance of TEPT diagnostic as a way of fiding the best psychotherapy strategies to handle with the traumatized patients , as, for instance, the precocious assistance.
