Valor de la videolaparoscopía en el diagnóstico de la patología aguda abdominal / Evaluation of videolaparoscopy in the diagnosis of acute abdominal pathology

ABSTRACT

The aim of this reporte was to after information obtained from the literature as well as from the author's experience, being convinced that the use of videolaparoscopy will serve as an useful diagnostic method, for the acute abdominal pathology. As a conclusion it is suggested that the employment of videolaparascopy as a new and useful contribution for diagnosis in patients with acute abdominal pain, mainly when an accurate definition was impossible to determine, can avoid unnecessary delay, given security, and precision to an early diagnosis of a frequent pathology as it is the acute abdomen.
