Proyecto histología virtual: ODONTOWEB / Virtual histology project: ODONTOWEB

RESUMEN

Histología, Anatomía y Embriología Buco-dental son disciplinas incluidas en las Ciencias Morfológicas cuyo conocimiento permite comprender la fisiología y la patología. Por otra parte, los cambios metodológicos derivados del acceso universal a la información y la comunicación que posibilitan INTERNET y el uso de las Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación han conducido a la aparición de un nuevo paradigma de enseñanza. A partir de este nuevo paradigma nuestro objetivo fue desarrollar dentro del Proyecto Histología Virtual el sitio virtual ODONTOWEB, dirigido a los estudiantes de las Ciencias de la Salud y en especial a los que cursan Histología y Embriología en la Facultad de Odontología, Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, Argentina. En el Home Page ODONTOWEB, la información (galerías de imágenes, guías de estudios, identificación de imágenes y consignas para buscar bibliografía) se organiza de la siguiente manera 1- TEJIDOS 2-SISTEMAS DE COORDINACION 3-SISTEMAS ENCARGADOS DE TRANSPORTE Y DEFENSA, 4- SISTEMAS ENCARGADOS DE LA NUTRICION, RESPIRATORIO Y URINARIO. Consideramos que Internet aplicada a la educación, satisface en gran medida las necesidades de información, tanto en contenidos como en metodologías y recursos, lo que permite sostener que el mayor valor de esta red para la educación, consiste en ser un sistema de difusión del conocimiento y un espacio de encuentro y colaboración, imprescindibles en los procesos educativos.

ABSTRACT

Oral and Dental Histology, Embryology and Anatomy are disciplines included in the Morphological Sciences which knowledge allows to understand physiology and pathology. On the other hand, the methodological changes resulting from universal access to information and communication enabled by Internet and the use of Information Technology and Communication have led to the emergence of a new paradigm of education. From this new paradigm our goal was to develop within the Virtual Histology Project the ODONTOWEB virtual site aimed at students of Health Sciences and especially those who attend the subject Histology and Embryology, Faculty of Dentistry, National University of Cordoba, Argentina. In the Home Page ODONTOWEB, the information (images, study guides, identification of images and slogans to find literature) is organized as follows 1 - TISSUE 2- COORDINATION SYSTEMS 3-SYSTEMS RESPONSIBLE FOR TRANSPORTATION AND DEFENSE, 4 Ð SYSTEMS RESPONSIBLE FOR NUTRITION, RESPIRATORY and URINARY. We believe that the Internet applied to education, largely meets the needs of information, both in contents and methods and resources, allowing understanding that the greatest value of this network for education, is to be a system of dissemination of knowledge and a space to meet and collaborate, indispensable in the educational process.
