Hepatitis viral aguda desde la perspectiva de la medicina militar

RESUMEN

Se realizó una revisión sobre los antecedentes históricos de la hepatitis viral aguda vinculados a los distintos conflictos bélicos en los que ha estado involucrada la humanidad. Se hizo una síntesis actualizada de los aspectos más importantes acerca de los virus, la clínica, la epidemiología y el diagnóstico de la hepatitis viral aguda. Se mostraron los elementos más relevantes referentes al comportamiento y manejo de la entidad para la medicina militar contemporánea.

ABSTRACT

A review of the history of acute viral hepatitis linked to the different wars in which humanity has been involved is made. An up-to-date synthesis of the most important aspects of the virus, the clinic, the epidemiology and the diagnosis of acute viral hepatitis is also included. The most important elements concerning the behaviour and management of the entity for contemporary military medicine are shown.
