Anima e animus na contemporaneidade

RESUMO

O presente artigo objetiva a compreensão contemporânea dos conceitos de anima e animus, reunindo a opinião de vários autores e sintetizando pontos de convergência. A contemporaneidade expõe inúmeras formas de vivenciar a sexualidade e relações com o outro e, nesse sentido, o entendimento clássico do conceito de anima e animus apresenta lacunas importantes que precisam de reformulações. O artigo propõe a análise bibliográfica de autores na psicologia analítica, expondo pontos básicos de entendimento em relação ao conceito de arquétipo e de manifestação arquetípica de anima e animus. Há uma crítica constante à visão clássica em virtude do entendimento equivocado que confunde arquétipo com manifestação arquetípica. Conclui-se que a funcionalidade da manifestação arquetípica permanece vigente e que o arquétipo não é um depositário de estereótipos mas, em si, uma necessidade de polarização, sendo sua roupagem um fenônemo cultural

ABSTRACT

This article aims to understand the contemporary concept of anima and animus by gathering opinion and points of convergence of several authors. In contemporary society there are countless ways to experience sexuality and the relationship with others. In this sense, the classical understanding of the concept of anima and animus presents important gaps that need adjustments. The present article proposes a literature review of authors on analytical psychology that clarifies the basis of analysis in relation to the concept of archetypes and archetypal manifestation of the anima and animus. There are criticisms about the classical point of view because of the misunderstanding that mixes archetype and archetypical manifestation. The article concludes that the functionality of the archetypal manifestation remains effective and that the archetype is not a repository of stereotypes but, in itself, the necessity for polarization, and their manifestation is a cultural phenomenon
