Considerações sobre o esporte e o lazer: entre direitos sociais e projetos sociais / Considerations about the sport and leisure: between social rights and social projects

RESUMO

Este artigo objetiva discutir o direito ao esporte e ao lazer na sociedade contemporânea, baseando-se nas imbricações entre este e a ascensão dos projetos esportivos sociais realizados por Empresas privadas ou instituições do Terceiro Setor. A análise nos indica que, em virtude da adoção de características neoliberais, o Estado deixa de oferecer o esporte e o lazer de maneira universal. E, assim, abre espaço para que outras instituições utilizem o esporte em programas restritos a determinadas comunidades e com fins utilitaristas, voltados para a solução de problemas sociais que tendem a extrapolar os limites do esporte. A estrutura do texto é a seguinte são apresentadas considerações sobre o esporte e o lazer como direitos sociais; a perspectiva da responsabilidade social das empresas e as intervenções do Terceiro setor; a perspectiva do esporte social e, ao final, é realizada a síntese das discussões.

ABSTRACT

This article aims to discuss the right to sport and leisure in contemporary society, based on the interplay between this one and the rise of so-called social sports projects undertaken by private companies or institutions of the Third Sector. The analysis show us which, due to the adoption of neoliberal characteristics, the state fails to offer the sport and leisure as a right for all, universally. And, therefore, paves the way for other institutions that use sport programs restricted to certain communities and for purposes of utilitarian character, aimed at solving social problems that tend to push the limits of sport. The article presents considerations about the sport and leisure as social rights. Next are discussed the prospect of corporate social responsibility and the operations of Third Sector. The third moment is discussed the prospect of social and sport at the end, it held the synthesis of the discussions.
