RESUMO

Este estudo trata da construção e validação de um protocolo de terapia de nutrição enteral para pacientes adultos em uso de sonda enteral. É um estudo metodológico, em que, na sua primeira fase, realizou-se a revisão integrativa da literatura a respeito da atuação do enfermeiro frente a um paciente adulto com indicação de terapia de nutrição enteral. Para tanto, se procedeu à busca de estudos em bases de dados nacionais e internacionais, onde foram selecionados 36 estudos que atenderam aos critérios de inclusão, nas bases de dados SCIELO, LILACS, LEYES, MEDLINE, CINAHL e BDTD, após o cruzamento dos descritores controlados nutrição enteral, alimentação enteral e terapia nutricional, e suas traduções em inglês e espanhol. A leitura e a síntese dos estudos apontaram para quatro linhas de atuação relacionadas à TNE que orientaram na operacionalização da construção do protocolo. ABSTRACT

This study deals with the construction and validation of a protocol for enteral nutritiontherapy for adult patients on enteral tube use. This is a methodological study, which in its firstphase was held on integrative literature review concerning the nursing procedures related toenteral nutrition therapy (ENT). For thata search of studies was undertakeninnationalandinternational databases, where we selected 36 studies that met the inclusion criteria, thedatabases SCIELO, LILACS, LEYES, MEDLINE, CINAHL and BDTD after matching thecontrolled descriptorsenteral nutrition, enteral feeding and nutritional therapy and theirtranslations inenglish andspanish. Reading and synthesis of studies pointed to four lines ofconduct relating to theENToperationalization that guided the construction of the protocoland yielding the first version.
