RESUMO

O artigo tematiza a clínica da pulsão de morte através de uma de suas manifestações mais impressionantes os efeitos sobre a saúde do bebê da intensa rejeição por parte de sua mãe. O conceito freudiano de pulsão de morte é revisto em seu surgimento na história da psicanálise e, sobretudo, a partir das contribuições de S. Ferenczi e do ensino de J. Lacan.

ABSTRACT

The article centers upon the clinical treatment taking into consideration the death drive and one of its most impressive manifestations the effects on the baby's health resulting from the intense rejection by his mother. The Freudian concept of the death drive is investigated from the time of its emergence in the history of psychoanalysis, and especially from S. Ferenczi’s contributions and J. Lacan’s teaching.
