ABSTRACT
In this article we intend to sustain the relevance of thinking about the relationship between method and clinical practices, a commitment that is distinct from the usual reflection between theory and practice. The methodological framework that guides our horizon of reflection is the phenomenological method of investigation presented by Martin Heidegger (1889-1976) in his fundamental ontology Being and Time 1927. Heidegger, was assistant and successor of Edmund Husserl (1859-1938), a philosopher and a mathematician, founder of the philosophical movement called phenomenology, contributing significantly to the humanities and to the understanding of psychopathology with Karl Jaspers, Minkowski, Von Gebsattel, among others. With the ontology of Martin Heidegger, other developments were possible, such as Daseinsanalyse of L. Binswanger (1881-1966) and Medard Boss (1903-1990), a clinical practice sustained by the phenomenological method of investigation, by Heideggers ontology, among other contributions from the thinker. In this article we defend the possibility of sustaining a psychological clinical practice by means of a method.
