Os espaços de sociabilidade e de lazer na festa de renovação do sagrado coração de Jesus no Cariri cearense / The spaces of sociability and leisure in the sacred heart of Jesus renewal feast in Cariri ? Ceará

RESUMO

O objetivo deste artigo é configurar o lazer na Festa de Renovação realizada nos municípios do Aurora, Barbalha, Crato, Juazeiro do Norte e Milagres. No tecido conceitual, utiliza-se a concepção de lazer aplicada por Dumazedier (2000), Marcellino (2000) e Elias e Dunning (1985). Trata-se de uma pesquisa etnográfica, com uma amostra de 24 famílias habitando no meio rural. Recorre-se à observação, diário de campo, registros fotográficos, entrevistas semiestruturadas e análise das narrativas. A festa é um espaço de sociabilidade e lazer, promovendo encontros, alegrias, sentimentos, emoções, afetos, afinidades e ainda fortalecendo a construção da identidade regional, principalmente através da comida. Por essa via, há a quebra da rotina doméstica da família que acolhe os parentes e os vizinhos, que compartilham, animados e voluntariamente, a festa naquela residência que congrega a cultura do Cariri.

ABSTRACT

The objective of this article is to configure leisure in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Renewal Feast that takes place in the municipalities of Aurora, Barbalha, Crato, Juazeiro do Norte, and Milagres. Along this article, the concept of leisure is the one applied by Dumazedier (2000), Marcellino (2000), Elias and Dunning (1985). This is an ethnographic research with a sample of 24 families dwelling in rural areas. The instruments used were observation, diary, photos, semistructured interviews and the analyses of verbal reports. The feast is a space for socialization and leisure promoting meetings, happiness, sentiments, emotions, care, affinities and strengthening the local identity, mainly through the food that is served. This way, there is a break in the family domestic routine who houses relatives and neighbors that will, happily and voluntarily, share the feast in that house that congregates Cariri?s culture.
