RESUMO

Este trabalho consiste em refletir sobre o desenvolvimento de projetos educacionaisem bibliotecas de Instituições de Ensino Superior na chamada “Sociedade doConhecimento”. O processo de globalização e as novas tecnologias da informaçãoredefiniram a atuação da biblioteca contemporânea no sentido de torná-la em umespaço de ensino e aprendizagem bem como conduzir os que dela fazem uso a umverdadeiro “aprender a aprender”.O trabalho foi desenvolvido com o objetivo derealizar ações na biblioteca em questão a fim de uma maior apropriação de seusespaços e serviços. O local onde se realizou o trabalho foi em uma biblioteca deuma Instituição de Ensino Superior localizada na Zona Leste da cidade de SãoPaulo. A metodologia aplicada foi a da pesquisa-ação. As ações consistiram empequenos projetos educacionais desenvolvidos na biblioteca ao longo de um ano.Todas as ações foram avaliadas durante o processo através de indicadorespreviamente estabelecidos. Os resultados demonstraram êxito no trabalho atravésde projetos ao constatar que por meio de ações educativas e culturais a bibliotecapode ampliar de seu espaço de atuação bem como proporcionar uma maiorapropriação deste espaço pela comunidade acadêmica...

ABSTRACT

This work reflects on the development of educational projects in higher educationinstitutions libraries in the so-called "Knowledge Society". The globalization processand the new information technologies redefined the action of the contemporarylibrary, turning it into a teaching and learning space, as well as leading those whomake use of it, to a true "learning to learn”. This work was developed with thepurpose of carrying out actions in the library in question, in order to make a betteruse of its spaces and services. It was carried out in a library of a higher educationinstitution located in the East of the city of São Paulo, making use of the researchactionmethodology. The actions consisted of educational projects developed in the library throughout the year. All the actions were evaluated during the process throughindicators previously established. The results showed that the work was successfulafter verifying, by means of cultural and educational actions, that the library canextend its space of actions as well as provide a better use of its space by theacademic community...
