RESUMO

O projeto "PASSAGEM Espaço de Acolhimento de Mães e Bebês" foi implantado em 2003 no Hospital das Clínicas e faz parte de um conjunto de ações que visam à humani- zação do atendimento hospitalar. Conta, em maior parte, com a atuação dos alunos dos primeiros períodos do curso de Medicina da UFMG que atuam junto a mulheres com gravidez de alto risco e de baixa renda. Objetiva a introdução no currículo de práticas médicas desde o início da formação do aluno, com viés humanizado e, sobretudo, atendendo às novas necessidades da bioética e do direito dos pacientes, Neste artigo tenta-se avaliar as limitações e perspectivas de um projeto desta natureza, na formação do estudante de Medicina. ABSTRACT

The project "PASSAGE Mothers and 8abies Reception" was established in 2003 at the Hospital das Clínicas and is part of a set of actions that aim the humanization of hospital care.
