99mTechnetium-dextran: Radionuclide lymphography.

ABSTRACT

99mTc-Dextran is a new lymphography agent which offers many adventages over the previously utilized radiopharmaceuticals such as 198Au-Colloid, 99mTc-Phytate. It has high specificity for localization in the lymphatic system and is the only one complex dissolves in the lymph. The 99mTc-Dextran kits have more than 90 percent labeling yield, 4 hours bench-life, and1.5 years shelf-life. The labeled product is remarkably cheaper than the others.
