ABSTRACT

Endoscopic retrograde biliary drainage is a well-established, minimally invasive procedure for treating biliary obstructions caused by malignant or benign diseases. Although there is a low rate of complications with biliary stenting, late complications of stent migration can occur, occasionally resulting in bowel inflammation, obstruction or perforation.
