Determination of berberine hydrochloride in modified Ermiao pill by HPLC / 国际中医中药杂志

ABSTRACT

Objective To establish a HPLC method for the determination of berberine hydrochloride in Jiawei Ermiao Wan.Methods The RP-HPLC system consisted of the Luna-C18 (4.6 mm × 250 mm,5 μm) column,the mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile-0.1％H3PO4(4555),the flow rate was 1.0mL · min-1,the column temperature was 30℃,The UV detector was set at 245nm.Results The linear response range was 0.071～1.42 mg· ml-1 (r=0.9998).The average recovery of mangiferin was 99.2％,and RSD＜2％.Conclusion The method was simple,rapid,accurate and repeatable.It could be applied in the determination of berberine hydrochloride in Jiawei Ermiao Wan.
