ABSTRACT
Gap junction has been considered allowing direct transfer of small metabolites between cells to maintain homeostasis in mul-ticellular organisms. Deficient gap junction involved in genesis and development of many central neurological disorder, and may be a poten-tial target for the treatment of them.
