Analysis of Related Factors in Compliance of Stroke Patients by Acupuncture Treatment / 浙江中医药大学学报

ABSTRACT
[Objective] To survey the compliance and related factors of our hospital stroke patients by acupuncture treatment in recent years. [Method] Selection of stroke patients with stable vital signs after rehabilitation treatment from Jan.1,2012 to Dec.31,2013 in our hospital as the objects of study, the demographic characteristics of patients were collected by hospital information system, the injury degree of living ability, depression and the degree of family support for patients were assessed by recovery scale, and the correlation between above factors and compliance were analyzed by comprehensive statistical software.[Result] In 168 patients, only 72 (42.86%) patients had a good compliance, the compliance of women was better than that of men(χ2=7.74, P=0.005), the compliance of better educated patients was better than that of less educated patients(P0.05). [Conclusion] The patients with better education, better family economic condition, milder depression and more families support, had the better compliance. In the course of daily acupuncture treatment, the medical staff should pay more attention to the health education to the patients and their families in order to help patients have a good attitude for treatment; the psychological care should be implemented and patients mentality should be adjusted at any time; a good family and social support system for patients should be built by the help of medical staff.
