ABSTRACT
Irritable bowel syndrome(IBS)is one of the most common functional gastrointestinal disorders,which impacts on patientsquality of life as well as physical and mental health. Studies have shown that visceral hypersensitivity (VHS)is an important pathophysiological factor in the pathogenesis of IBS,and neural regulation plays a key role in the process of VHS. This article reviewed the advances in study on effect of neural regulation pathway on pathogenesis of VHS in IBS.
