ABSTRACT
36 Patients of chronic granulocytic leukemia were treated with intermittent high-dose myleran.It was shown that the short-term effect was better than that of the conventional lower dose method.Remission occurred earlier and severe suppression of bone marrow was rare.This method was simple and feasible.However,the incidenee of blast crisis was 61%.Its average occurring time was 34.7 months after being diagnosed,and the middle survivai peri- od was 31.25 months.There is no significant difference as compared with the control.
