ABSTRACT
To evaluate effects of health education on treast-feeding, studies have been conducted on 203 gravidas who were delivered of their babies in hospital. In the inteervene group, the rate of exclusively breastfeeding in the period of early sucking lates and breast-feeding according to the necessity and during the post6partum four months is higher than that of the control group, while the neonate's weight-reduction in the intervene group is lower than that of those in the control group when they leave hospital. The disparity is significant after dealt with by statistics. The study suggests that health eeeducation is on important and indispensable measure to develop breast-feeding.
