ABSTRACT

AIM: To observe the effect of adrenomedullin(ADM)on proliferation of vascular smooth muscle cells(VSMC) induced by urotensin Ⅱ(UⅡ). METHODS: DNA synthesis of cultured rat aortic VSMC was measured by -TdR incorporation. The activities of mitogen activated protein kinase(MAPK) were determined by isotope tagged with [?- 32 P]-ATP.
