ABSTRACT
OBJECTIVE:
To determine the urine level of levofloxacin by second-order derivative spectrophotometry.METHODS:
The concentration of levofloxacin in human urine was determined at a wavelength of 350~ 360nm using a second-order derivative spectrum peak valley amplitude(P).RESULTS:
The standard curve was linear in the concentration range of 2~ 18? g? mL-1(r=0.999 6).The average recovery was 100.2%(RSD=0.66%).The intra-day and inter-day RSD were 0.09% and 1.82%,respectively.CONCLUSION:
The method is simple, stable, precise and reproducible, and in which blank urine sampling, the extraction and isolation were not needed, thus it can be used for the monitoring of urine drug level.
