ABSTRACT

objective: To study the relationship between the experession of P53,Bcl 2 and apoptosis in salivary gland tumor.Methods: Apoptosis was detected in histological sections by the terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase mediated dUTP nick end labelling(TUNEL), P53 and Bcl 2 were detected by immunohistochemical staining in 18 cases of pleomorphic adenoma and 52 cases of malignant salivary gland tumors.Results: :The apoptosis index(AI) in plemorphic adenoma and malignant salivary gland tumors was 0.14 and 0.68 ( P
