ABSTRACT
[Objective]To investigate the clinical effect of minimally invasive technique for patellar fracture with kirschner's wire tensile band through subcutaneously tunnel.[Method]Forty-three cases of closed patella fracture were reduced with minimally invasive, a subcutaneously tunnel was established on the patella surface, blood clot and debris were cleaned through the tunnel. After anatomic reduction, fixed the fracture with Kirschner wire tension band. Function exercise was started early. [Result]All the fractures were approached anatomic reduction and skeletal union. Superficial layer on the patella had no conglutination. The scar and pain in the patella prezone were less than before. The score of Lysholm II was 86.8. Forty-three cases were followed up for an average of 16.3 months. All knee joint could move from 0? to 105?.[Conclusion]Minimally invasive technique for patella fracture with kirschner's tensile band wire could treat patellar fracture reliably and clinical curative effect is excellent.
